This piece captures the classic Southern appeal of an antique sugar chest except this one has been scaled down a bit to fit in a variety of places. It features mortise and tenon construction and a dovetailed drawer. The one pictured is made of solid tiger maple. Hinges are solid brass. While slightly smaller than a traditional sugar chest, our design still provides a nice amount of storage capacity.
